Andrews Government Shooting Goals for Netballers

Danny Pearson MP today announced funding to develop plans to expand the netball facilities at Riverside Park in Ascot Vale. With new families moving into the area and more locals signing up to play netball, the existing seven multi-use courts are struggling to cope with demand.
Following consultation with Netball Victoria and Moonee Valley City Council, the Labor Government is delivering $10,000 to begin planning works.
The funding will kick start a concept plan for netball courts at the park, then prepare a design brief and business case for the new courts.
The plan will explore options for resurfacing existing courts to competition standard, adding up to nine more courts, and installing competition standard lighting so the courts can be used day and night.
